Trinity Subsurface scans concrete slabs, walls, decks and columns with ground penetrating radar before you core, saw cut or anchor. Technicians locate rebar, post-tension cable, electrical conduit and voids, mark them directly on the surface, and leave a field sketch so the cutting crew knows exactly where it is safe to drill. GPR uses no radiation, so hospitals, labs, offices and classrooms can stay occupied while we work.
We cover the City of Philadelphia and Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. Call (610) 492-6262 to schedule.
GPR wall scanning at 16 locations, three of them reached by man-lift, so the college could core conduit pathways for a fire alarm upgrade.
Scanned 8 floor locations and 12 wall locations for embedded utilities before Charles H. MacDonald Electric cored for three new conduits.
Slab scanning across four areas totaling about 2,700 square feet plus a 600 square foot loading dock ahead of saw cutting and slab removal.
Two-sided wall scans for rebar and embedded utilities at two locations inside the occupied hospital before Hatzel & Buehler cored.
Multi-week concrete scanning inside the arena with crews of up to three technicians a day.
Yes. GPR uses low-power radio waves instead of radiation, so nobody has to clear the floor and the work can happen during normal hours. Results are marked on the surface the same day.
Yes. Post-tension tendons, rebar and conduit all show up on GPR. On post-tensioned decks we mark tendons and leave clear zones for coring or anchoring.
Most requests are on site within three business days, often sooner. Call (610) 492-6262 and scheduling will confirm what is possible.
Yes. Trinity Subsurface also provides concrete core drilling, so one mobilization can cover both. See our concrete scanning service for more detail.
